On October 6th, 2023, the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Joe Cahill, Division 10 and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians Mathair Gael Division 10 will be holding our 14th Annual Golf Tournament. The Ancient Order of Hibernians is the largest
and oldest Catholic fraternal organization in the country. Our membership is made up of a dedicated group of individuals representing a diverse socio-economic background. The founding principles of the Ancient Order of Hibernians are Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity. Christian charity plays a major role in all our endeavors. Proceeds from this year’s tournament will benefit the City Of Angels NJ, Inc. and the Billy Briggs Memorial Scholarship Foundation.
City of Angels was founded in January of 2009 after identifying the needs in the community of the addicted and
their families for increased support, interventions and referrals. At COA, they offer support with the hope that
they may be able to give people calm guidance as they approach the daily challenges faced by those affected
with addictions.
The Billy Briggs Memorial Scholarship program provides a once- in-a-lifetime educational opportunity for
students, ages 15-17 who are interested in exploring, enhancing, and celebrating their Irish culture. It is designed
to educate students in the Irish Language and Culture through a three-week program that is held each summer at
the Coláiste Gael Linn Irish Cultural College in County Donegal.
We are asking for your consideration in support of our Golf Tournament and these very worthy causes. Various
